Submit PWR Section Preferences

Follow these steps to submit your preferences

Students will receive an email inviting them to rank their section preferences prior to enrollment opening for their assigned quarter. Students should follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the PWR Course Assignment website
  2. Visit the PWR 1 or PWR 2 catalog for course and instructor information. 
  3. Rank your top seven section preferences. You must list exactly seven sections for your form to be accepted. Each section is treated independently, so one courses with two sections times are treated as two distinct preferences. While theme may seem the most important reason to prefer one course over another, pay close attention to meeting times as it's critical you pick sections that will fit with your schedule. You will receive a confirmation email upon successfully submitting your preferences. We strongly suggest saving this email. We recommend Chrome or Firefox when selected preferences and suggest even after you've received the confirmation email you check in VCA prior to the deadline to make sure the correct choices are showing up. Note: You can go back to PWR Course Assignment website and change your preferences up until the deadline. (see Dates and Deadlines).
  4. You will receive an email containing your section assignment usually the day after the preference window has closed (see Dates and Deadlines).
